Tunisian National Dialogue Quartet win Nobel peace prize

NEWS CENTER - The Tunisian National Dialogue Quartet has won the Nobel peace prize owing to its role in democracy after revolution.

The Tunisian National Dialogue Quartet has won the Nobel peace prize for contribute to the building of a pluralistic democracy after the fall of Zine El Abiding Ben Ali. The quartet is comprised of four key organizations in Tunisian civil society: the Tunisian General Labour Union, the Tunisian Confederation of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts, the Tunisian Human Rights League and the Tunisian Order of Lawyers. Also, they will take 972 thousand dollars as prize money.

Last year, Malala Yousafzai and Kallash Satyarthi won the Nobel peace prize.
