Women target of bullets in Nusaybin

MÊRDÎN- Women have been the target of bullets during the curfew in Nusaybin. The curfew, which was declared on November 13, is in the sixth day. During the curfew, Selamet Yeşilmen has been killed and Fatma Kulat, Halime Güner and Şirin Bilgin have been wounded.
Mother of five Selamet Yeşilmen was shot and killed by an armoured vehicle while she was sitting outside of her home. Selamet’s funeral could not be taken to Nusaybin due to the continuing curfew, so her funeral took place in the village of Ulak (Firfêl) in the district of İdil (Hezex).
Fatma Kulat (42) was wounded by a bullet while she was cooking in the kitchen. Being badly wounded, Fatma was taken to the Nusaybin State Hospital by ambulance and then she was referred to the Dicle University Faculty of Medicine in Diyarbakır.
Mother of three Halime Güner (35) was shot in her right foot when she was outside her home in the neighborhood of Abdulkadirpaşa. The ambulance took her to the Nusaybin State Hospital after she was treated at home for hours.
Şirin Bilgin (37) was another target of gunfire. She was shot in her back by police bullets while she was on the balcony of her house on November 15. She was taken to the Nusaybin State Hospital.
