WAN - 25 women who work in a carpet workshop in Van(a city of the Eastern Turkey)which was founded by Mavi-Kent INC. Van Metropolitan Municipality, blazed a trail and they commenced to produce rhubarb jam which have high nutritional value that grows in the high parts.

According to the researches in US, the rhubarb kills cancer cells and a variety of modified pigments also determined to reduce the growth of tumors. Furthermore, Britain's Daily Express which is one of the world's largest media organizations captioned as "Rhubarb can save your life."

Initially they produced only 5 bottles of jam and then they produced 25 bottles this year. But they aim to produce 1 ton jam next year.

The women said "We will also produce the jam of wild fruits such as Şîlan (rose hip) and Givîj (hawthorn). These fruits are good for health." And "We have a great quantity of such wild fruits in this area."
