SHENGAL - There is a message from the YPJ-Shengal commander Dersîm Şengalî. Dersîm, "The YJA Star, YPJ and YPJ show how women should live on November 25 with deepen our struggles."

Women liberated Shengal.
Deash gangs went into Shengal to invate there on August 3, 2014. They killed many Yezids and they raped many women in Shengal. Shengal's women had to run away and some of them went to Rojava and North Kurdistan But others had to run away to the mountains in Shengal. These women established YPJ to fight against Daesh. they started to struggle against Deash. On November 13, Shengal has been liberated by the struggle of YPJ.

Dersîm said, " We were running from Daesh gangs last year but we made our self-defense stronger and now they are running from us."

The message of YPJ for November 25.
Dersîm said, "The violence against women are everywhere. The girls are marginalized even in their families. There is different between boys and girls in the families. The girls are grown up with psychology of oppression. Our fundamental duty is struggle against that."

Everyone should feel the shame of 21st century.
Dersîm said, "The women were captured and they were taken as contraband of war by Deash one year ago. The Yezid women are still sold. Many women are taken captive and they still undergo with great violence in the 21st century . That is a shame for humanity."

We will struggle to save all Yezid women.
"We promise from the bottom of our heart that we will save all Yezid women who were captured and we will support all women no matter where in the world and we will struggle the violence against to women.", said Dersîm.
