The women turn back to Kobanê

KOBANÊ - Women who returned to Kobanê after liberation,have accompanied to rebuild Kobanê.

Women said, "We do not replace our ruined houses to government's palace. After great pain and bedelliden we are building our own lives and we are happy now."

After the occupation of Deash, Kobanê was rescued from Deash gangs by the resistance of the fighters of The Women's Defense Units (YPJ) and People's Defense Units(YPG). After liberation of Kobanê, many people have returned to rebuild the city. The number of citizens who have participated in the city's construction is increasing each day.

'We were so happy to turn back to our homeland'

Fatîme Mihemed Bozan: When we returned to Kobanê, Deash gangs were still in Mizirdawadê village. We were so happy to come back but on the other hand we were sos ad too. Because everywhere in Kobanê was collapsed and destroyed. Deash threw the howitzer to our neighbor house. We knew them for 20 years. We lost all of them.
Fatîme said, " we had very difficult time when we turned back here. There was not any people. Thanks to God, now there are many people and we're rebuilding our city. All people from Kobanê should come back to their homeland. they should get rid of nomadic life."

'My house was destroyed, but I'm not desperate'

Hedle Îsa said, " When I returned back to Kobanê, I saw my house was destroyed but I'm not desperate. I am staying in the other house and I am happy to live in my city. There is the blood of our martyrs on this land so I will protect this land till death.

'We rebuild our city again'

Mislim Mustafa Ebas who started to rebuild his house said, " I do not get used to other places. I always wanted to turn back to my homeland. We will rebuil our city soon."
