ŞIRNEX/DÎLOK - Thousands of people celebrated the 37th anniversary of PKK in Cizre. Hundreds of people in Antep marched against the curfews in Kurdistan.

The 37th anniversary of PKK was celebrated with fireworks and folk dances in Cizre district of Mardin. The people in the neighborhoods of Cudi and Dağkapı shouted slogan such as "PKK is the people and the people is here." Cizre Democratic co-chairman of the People's Assembly Asya Yüksel asked, "Are you ready for the revolution which is in front of our door now?" She said, " We are here with the support of women and youth. This process has a strategic importance for us that is why the state has attacted us now."

Asya said, " We will stop all attacks with our self-control. We will not leave our house and our land even if they attact us everyday. That is our life-or-death struggle."

The march in Antep

Hundreds of people in Antep marched on the streets to celebrate the 37th anniversary of PKK and to protest the curfews which have been declared in Kürdistan. The people shouted slogan such as "Biji serok Apo", "Nusaybin people are not alone". After the march, people visited the activists who started to stage a hunger strike to end the blockade which continued 14 days.
