DÊRIK - Women came together in Derîk the city of Rojava under the leadership Yekîtiya Star to develop economic projects.

Building a new life in Rojava Cantons are being continued in all areas by women. The women describe the project ," The project is non-profit and are prepared on the basis of the needs. Our goal is rebuild the balance which are lost in the community and bring equal life to our people."

The women are taking their place in military,political and economy fields and they are performing the work on these issues in Cantons of Rojava. The product is being prepared at workshops with labor and they will be delivered to people through markets.

The Project was started with 10 women

First, women who are trending towards to ecological products, produced yogurt and cheese and they sold them in the bazaars.
The production manager Eyşe Ezedîn Hisê explained the commune work.Eyşe said, "We started to this project with 10 women. The project will be continued for 6 months. Our primary objective is strengthening the communal culture of women through the project. This work was seen as men work before the revolution but the power and the struggle of women in Rojava once again succeeded.

The aim is not just to make money

Eyşe said, " our aim is not make money, we want to show the woman's justice for everyone." "This workshop opened with the leadership of the movement Yekîtiya Star, the aim is to put women in the center of life. Women are working for the interests of the people. We call all women to join the construction work " said, Eyşe.

We find the soulutions together

Buşra Alî Hesen who are working in the workshop said, " We are working here totaly 10 women. The milk are being sent us by the workshop of Dîcelyê. We are producing yogurt and cheese with the milk. If we have some problems, we solve them together.I am glad to work here."

The Commune are organized.

Gûlistan Osman, the management of Dêrik Yektîtiya Star, said, "As Yekîtîya Star Movement, we attach importance in economic studies as well as all studies so we carry out work to maintain the balance of life equally. We have formed an economic committee in the Commune. This committee determines the needs and develops projects according to needs.
