AMED - One curfew was declared as indefinitely in Sur district of Diyarbakır. One woman has been badly wounded by the fire opened from armored vehicles. The police is opening fire to people who are trying to take the woman to hospital.

The Head of Diyarbakır Bar Association Tahir Elçi was killed by a bullet in the head.while Diyarbakır Bar Association and people made a statement to draw attention to historical building 'The Four Columns Minare'. Soon after the murder of Tahir Elçi, the curfew was declared. The police has blockaded and attacked the district. The people are making their self-defense.

An unidentified woman(23) has been badly wounded by a bullet coming from the armored vehicle in the neighborhood Yenikapı. The people tried to take her to hospital but the police is openning fire to people. As reported, the woman is losing blood and she is still at the spot and she can not been taken to hospital.
