ŞIRNEX - People protested the massacre of Tahir Elçi in Cizre. Haci Sasur was killed in Cizre by grenade thrower which threw from an armoured vehicle.

The protests against the massacre of Tahir Elçi, the Head of Diyarbakir Bar Association continued till midnight in Cizre district of Şırnak where Tahir Elçi was born. The police attacted the people in the neighborhood Yafes. The police first threw the grenade thrower randomly then they opened fire to the crowd of people. Hacı Sasur was wounded during the police attacts.Hacı Sasur lost his life. His body is still being held at a home.

The police started to attact the people in the neighborhoods Yasef, Cudi and Nur with tear-gases, grenade throwers and real bullets. The people are forming self-defense.

The shopkeepers have not opened the shutter again in Cizre.
