AMED - The curfew in Sur is being continued in eighth day. One citizen who lives in the neighborhood under attacks said, " They have bombed us since morning. If the blockade is not broken today, they will kill all of us. The people must revolt and they must show them that Sur is not alone."

The curfew has been imposed for 8 days in Sur district of Diyarbakır. According the reports received, the special forces have being attacked intensely to Sur since morning. The sound of explosions in Sur has been heard and some houses have been burned. The attacks are being continued to the neighborhoods over land and air. One citizen from Sur said, " That's enough. They are bombing the Sur for hours. The special forces want to wipe away us and the historical places. If the blockade is not broken today, they will kill all of us. The people must revolt and they must show them that Sur is not alone. There are women and children who have been wounded. Their situation are turning on deterioration.

The shutters have been taken down in Lice

The people have been taken down the shutters in Lice district of Diyarbakır to protest the blockade in Sur.
