WAN - The polices have threated the people in Köyiçi neighborhood of Edremit district of Van. They have told them ' We will kill all of you, we will wipe here off the map'. The people in the village said, "If they continue to threat us, we will do our self-defence."

They throw randomly the tear-gases

Filiz Sondak, one citizen in the village said, " The special forces come here at nigth and leave here in the morning. I am working in a store and mostly I am alone at the store. I don't have my life safety. Recently the children are afraid to go school because the special forces throw randomly the tear-gases and they use their weapons in closing time of the school.

We want peace but they come with their tanks

Melike Kızıltaş,another citizen in the village said, " We encounter with pressure. We react against these presure and that is our legitimate right. The polices shed light to our houses from armored vehicles and this disturbs us. We want the peace but they come to us with their weapons, tanks.They use bad language to us and our children. We are not able to stomach these. We will take measure for these tensities and we will do our self-defence. We do not keep quite anymore.

They want to banish us.

Hanım Babat said, " They want to banish us from here. We do not rise to this bait. We are not afraid from the enemy. They want to destroy here. When we sit in front of our home, they threat us like ' Go your home or we will kill you'. This can't go on like this. If needed, we will dike for our children security."
