KJA calls all women to the streets on December 25

AMED –The women will be in the areas under the lead of KJA with the slogan "The State is women killer" on December 25. Mukaddes Alataş,the coordinator of Kardelen The Women's Center gave the information of the action and she pointed out that every woman is faced with the massacre in Turkey. Mukaddes said, “Women must take action immediately. Only women can end this war. No woman should feel helpless. The women should announce their voices on this march.”

KJA(Independent Women's Congress)will perform a march on December 25 with the slogan ‘ The State is woman killer’ in the all areas of Turkey. The women will protest the policy implemented over the women’s bodies and the massacres in the territory of Kurdistan. The women will gather in front of DBP Provincial Building at 12:00 on December 25 and they will march towards Koşuyolu Park. The KJA will perform a mass action in Batıkent Square on January 9 for Sakine Cansız, Leyla Şaylemez and Fidan Doğan who were killed in Paris on January 9, 2013. The KJA will also perform cinevision,march and make the statement between 1-9 January.

‘We have seen the state is the triggerman in all the massacres'

Mukaddes said, “ We start our march with the slogan ‘The State is woman killer’. The answer to question why the state's the killer will be that all the massacres have been committed in the name of the state. On December 25, we will say that ‘the murderers of women should be tried’. We saw that there were the States behind of the massacres of Mirabel sisters and Sakine Cansız. We call all women to the streets and not be silence against the massacres.”

‘Women must take action immediately’

Mukaddes said, “We will be on the streets to tell the community that the State kills the women.As women,we never shut our eyes to the massacres of women and children.All women are faced to be massacred in Turkey. Women must take action immediately. Only women can end this war. No woman should feel helpless. The women should announce their voices on this march. The women in West must rise their noices against the massacres in Kurdistan.
