MERSİN – The youths protested the curfews in Gündoğdu neighborhood of Mersin. Police attacked them and they killed Sedat Baran.

Hundreds of people proteted the attacks against Kurdistan in Yeni Pazar, Gündoğdu and Şevket Sümer neighborhoods of Akdeniz district of Mersin, the police attacked them. The police attacked a group who gathered in front of Kıbrıs Primary School with real bullets. Sedat Baran was shot and killed and 3 people have been wounded by real bullets. Sedat Baran’s body was taken to Mersin State Hospital morgue.

The police have blockaded around the hospital with the armored vehicles and hundreds of riot police. The police attacked Sedat’s family with tear gas who waited in front of hospital. Sedat Baran’s mother told the police , “You killed my 20 years old son. I hope this heartbreak tear your heart out too.

According the reports received, the police opened fire to Sedat Baran while he was going to store.Many bullets hit the store’s cupboard.
