Roboski massacre commemorate in 4th years

ŞIRNEX - The scope of the 4th anniversary of the massacre of Roboski, the shopkeepers took down the shutters and hundreds of citizens gathered in Şırnak. They departed to Roboski village of Şırnak. The mothers wore black robes again.

The life is stoped in Şırnak for 34 citizens who were killed on December 28, 2011 as a result of bombing by warplanes in Roboski village of Uludere district of Şırnak. The shutters were taken down the shutters to condemn the Roboski massacre and support the self-government and the drivers turned off the ignitions. Hundreds of people gathered in front of the HDP and DBP buldings and departed towards Roboski village by holding the banners "Unutmadık unutmayacağız", "Ji bir neke-Unutma"( We don’t forget and we won’t forget).

The Roboski mothers are still having the massacre’s pain such as the massacre was yesterday. The mother wore black robes again this year. A tent with the photos of the PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and 34 citizens was put up near the commemoration area.

The co-chairs condemn the Roboski massacre

Ahmet Türk and Februniye Akyol Akay, the co-chairs of Mardin Metropolitan Municipality released a message in memory of 34 citizens who were killed as a result of bombing by warplanes. We remember with respect our 34 citizens who lost their life in Roboski massacre. We condole with Kurdish people. We stand by the democratic struggle of our people.
