The scope of the HDP’s ordinary general congress which will be held on 24 January, women's conference began in Siirt Municipality conference hall. Besime Konca, the representative of HDP Siirt, Belkiza Beştaş Epözdemir,the co-chair of Siirt Municipality, Eda Kilis, the co-chair of Eruh Municipality,the women executives of provincial, district and village of the HDP and the DBP, the Mothers of Peace and many delegates of NGOs attended the conference.

The conference was started with stand in silence. The banners were hanged in the conference such as ‘Today We build the future for democratic and autonomous life’, ‘Self Management is our reason for doing politics’ and ‘Woman Killer State’.

The speech of Conference was made by Besime Konca, the representative of HDP Siirt. In the speech, women demand to be lifted the blockades and curfew immediately in Sur, Cizre, Silopi and Kerboran(Dargeçit). As women,we are increasing our organization against the bans and massacres. We will continue to resist with women’s and citizens’s self-power. We resited for years and we won. We will resist and we will win again.

After the speech, the conference is continued as closed to the press.
