AMED -The people of Diyarbakır shut off the engines,took down the shutters and children did not go to schools against martial law practices in Kurdistan. The people with the participation of syndicates and professional organizations will march towards Sur.

The people in Diyarbakır stoped the life against the ongoing matial law practices in Sur for 28 days and the attacks against the people in Cizre, Silopi and Dargeçit. The stores have been closed almost 90% of the city. The contacts will not operate except of emergency situations.

The strike action of syndicates and professional organizations. The students also comply with the strike action and the schools remained empty.

The city is under a great silence, it is expected to be action at noon.

Lice, Ergani and Silvan joined the stop of life action too. In these districts all stores took down the shutters and the drivers shut off the engines except of the bakeries and pharmacies.

People will gather in front of Metropolitan Municipality in Diyarbakır and they will march to Sur.
