ANKARA- The activists who are walking from Bodrum to Diyarbakır with the slogan ‘I am walking to Peace’. The activists made a statement in front of the Parliament and they departed from Ankara to Diyarbakır.

The activists started to march from Bodrum to Diyarbakır to condermn the massacre in Kurdistan with the slogan ‘ I am walking to Peace’. The activists gathered in the Street of Yüksel and they walked to the Parliament. The initiative members carried the banners such as ‘I am walking from Bodrum to Diyarbakır for Peace’, ‘The Peace right now’, ‘The children must not killed’. After the statement, the group departed from Ankara to Diyarbakır.

We can not remain indifferent to the screams of ‘Your silence is killing us’

In the statement, the group said, “The deaths in the war environment have affected everyone. We are sorry and worried of the slaughter in Silvan,Cizre, Nusaybin and Sur. The ending of war, death and destruction come along with announcing the demand of peace louder and solidarity with the people of the area. As we are pacifists, we can not remain indifferent to the screams of ‘Your silence is killing us’ from the eastern part of Turkey and we started to this march to rise the noices of the Peace. We do not want live in the war. Living in the peace is our natural right. We invite everone who is against the war, believes we build a society living in peace to join our march.
