AMED – Thousands of people are gathering in front of Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality for the march of Sur and then pass to Botan under the leadership of the DBP, HDP, HDK, DTK and KJA with the participation of civil society organizations.

Thousands of people are gathering in front of Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality for the march of Sur and then pass to Botan under the leadership of the DBP, HDP, HDK, DTK and KJA with the participation of civil society organizations. Many citizens gathered in front of the Municipality for the march from Bodrum, İzmir, Ayvalık, İstanbul, Tekirdağ, Mersin, Foça and Ankara. The council of Mothers of Peace, the HDP MPs,the co-chairs of the municipalities and the people who came from other cities met in front of the Municipality in the morning. The health laborers also gathered for Aziz Yural who was killed in Cizre yesterday by carrying a bloody t-shirt and Aziz’s photos.

The health laborers, women from Bodrum and other women from other cities made a press statement in front of Municipality. In the statement, they said, “ We came here to be your voice. The peace will be in Cizre and Nusaybin not in İzmir or Ankara.”

Thousands of people are waiting in front of the Municipality for the march. The crowd are carrying the banners such as ‘Our martyrs are immortal’,’We are in mourning’ and they are shouting the slogans such as ‘the PKK is people,people are her’, ‘Kurdistan will be the grave of fascism’, ‘Viva the resistance of Sur’.
