AMED – Police attacked the march thousands for Sur which was organised under the leadership of the DBP, HDP, HDK, DTK and KJA with the participation of civil society organizations.

Thousands of people gathered in front of Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality for the march of Sur and then pass to Şırnak under the leadership of the DBP, HDP, HDK, DTK and KJA with the participation of civil society organizations. But the police did not allow the march and they stoped the mass in front of Orduevi. Figen Yüksekdağ, the co-chair of the HDP’s Head of General made a statement there. An explosion sound was heard during the statement then the police attacked the mass with tear gas and water cannon without any warning. The explosion sounds still come from the area.
