They also said that the West of country must to be sensitive what is going on in the East and drew attention to the martial law which is being forced excess of 90’s. They stated that the status of media is 'deplorable’.

The women who came from Istanbul to Diyarbakır against the curfews and massacres in Kurdistan among the "Peace activists" and who experienced the 90’s, stated that we came from a step far beyond of the 90’s, we are at a period the point of no return. The women said, “This is our last chance, if we don’t talk now, we won’t have a point of return.” Oya Baydar and Müge İplikçi drew attention to the role of media to not inform the people who live in the West what is going in Kurdistan.
‘The media have a great responsibility’
Oya said, “The people who live in the West of Turkey are not aware of what is going in Kurdistan and because of the media. That stems from the pressures . The media is under tremendous pressure. I think the real reason is that. That leads to media be irrelevant.”

'We are at a point in excess of 90’s’

Oya considered the question ‘Are we going back to the 90’s’ and she siad, “ I want to say I wish we could go back in the 90’s. We are at a point which is worse 90’s. There has never been a big break like that. The break of the heart is more important. Of course, these deaths and persecutions will bring a really break the hearts. The people must come here, look in their eyes and talk to people here. That’s not the same to learn from the TV. The people must come here in this way we will have a point of return.”

‘If we can not keep the children alive, then we die’

Müge İplikçi,the journalist writer, stated that we should use the peace language and Müge said, “ That’s our last chance,if we lose our last chance, I really worry how we can bring our grandchildren to the days which are waiting us. I want that the people on this land not fight with each other anymore. I came here for the children. As a trainer,I can not accept the violation of children's rights. If we can not keep the children alive in this country then we should die.”
