AMED - Our reporter Duygu Erol went to the street of Gazi where the curfew was lifted last week but still the siege of police continues,in order to cover the news. Police stoped and threatened her by using the sentences; 'We'll send you to the cemetery. if it was up to me, I would execute you.'

The curfew has been imposed in the 6 neighborhoods of Sur and the curfew was lifted in Gazi street of Sur last week. Our reporter Duygu Erol went to the street of Gazi to cover the news but she was stoped by the police in the street of Gazi. The police asked her identity card and the press card in the same time they called the police of TEM(anti-terror police). The TEM police asked her ' Where are you from?, Where are you living?' Duygu answered them 'Elazığ'. Then they threatened her by saying the sentences; ' Do you know the cemetery of Gülmez in Elazığ? Your new home is there. Do you have a family grave there? Go to stay with them.'

After checking her identity card and press card, they gave back her cards. There were two other civilians near our reporter and the police told them (by referring to 2 civilians) if it was up to me, I would execute all of you. You are not journalist. Are not you ashamed to carry this card? And they allowed them go to.
