Feleknas Uca : If Turkey does not abide by the decision of the ECtHR, its membership cancelled

AMED - Feleknas Uca, the HDP Diyarbakır MPs, talked about the complaint at the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) against Turkey over frequent days-long curfews in Sur and Cizre. Feleknas said, " The Council of Europe can suspend the membership of Turkey even they can cancel the membership of Turkey."
The complaint at the European Court Of Human Rights
The lawyers filed a complaint at the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) to draw attention to the siege and massacre in Kurdistan. The European Court of Human Rights asked for a defence by the Turkish state till January 7.The decision of the ECtHR are being waited by all people and the defence of Turkey who commits war crime, became an issue of concern. Feleknas Uca, the HDP Diyarbakır MPs, considered the decision of the ECtHR. Feleknas said, "A full-scale war began against the Kurdish population by June 7. The curfews have been declared in Cizre,Silopi,Nusaybin,Dargeçit and Sur and major attacks have been carried out in these districts. As the HDP, we applied to the Court for the curfews. We took a step to lift the curfews. The curfews declared do not only consist of the bans it also restricts people's rights. We've done our best to prevent that and we will continue to do that."
The applications to the Court for Sur
Feleknas said, " We applied to the European Court Human Rights on the 9th day of the curfew in Sur and our complaint was accepted in the first place. They asked for a defence by the Governorship of Sur in 3 days. Then the Governorship lifted the curfew and declared again in the same day. We applied to the Court again but it was not accepted. We will apply to the Court for Sur today again.
Turkey will loss its prestige in the World
If Turkey does not perform the decision of ECtHR, the Council of Europe can suspend the european union membership of Turkey even they can cancel the membership of Turkey. Turkey will serious loss of its prestige in the world public opinion.
