ŞIRNEX – After 12-year-old child Bişeng Goran was killed as she tried to flee her family’s besieged neighborhood in the town of Cizre while carrying a white flag, her mother has stated that police snipers killed her child.

Although state forces have maintained 24 days of heavy artillery attacks on the town of Cizre, the people have resisted. 12-year-old child Bişeng Goran lost her life yesterday in the attacks.Bişeng’s mother, Saliha Goran, repeats that state snipers killed her daughter. She has not yet taken off the skirt stained with Bişeng’s blood and continues to carry her daughter’s bag.

“After the cannon attacks on Meltem Sokak in the Cudi neighborhood, 30 of us were forced to leave the neighborhood. Bişeng was coming from behind me. The bag you see inmy hand was in her hand. My other daughter was walking in front of me. At one point I asked my daughter, ‘where’s Bişeng?’ Then I turned and looked behind me and Bişeng was on the ground,” said Saliha.

Saliha reported that a bullet struck her daughter in the head from the direction of a hill where snipers were posted.

“They assassinated her from the hill—we call it Mamela Hill,” said Saliha. “They opened fire from there. The bullet struck her head.

“My God, I turn over the people who did this to you,” Saliha said.
