Our reporter Rojda Oğuz jailed

WAN - Our reporter Rojda Oğuz was detained in Wan as part of political genocide operations towards university students. Yesterday she was sent to Court to be arrested. Rojda has been jailed.
The police organised raids to KYK(student dormitory) and many students houses on January 5 in Van. Our reporter Rojda Oğuz-student in Van Yüzüncü Yıl University- and 16 students were detained. Aylin Çelik and Emin Bilgin were released last night after taking their testimony. 15 students-with Rojda- were sent to the prosecution. Şilan Söylemez, Sezgin Akgül, Doğukan Özkaya, Kahraman Erdem, Musa Sagun, Mehmet Ayaz, Kerem Akdoğan and an student-name unknown- were released after taking their testimony. Uğur Beder and Şahin Çakasin were released under supervised release. Selman Beder, Ferhat Ürgen, Servet Soyürün, Mehmet Çelenk and our reporter Rojda Oğuz were sent to the Court to be arrested. After taking their testimony in the night court,Rojda and other 4 students have been jailed.
The reasons of being jailed are to attend the demonstrations for covering the news and be member of Patriotic Students' Association (YÖDER).
