MERSİN - Police attacked the women who gathered to go Leyla Şaylemez's grave with tear gas and water cannon.

Kurdish women politicians Sakine Cansız, Fidan Doğan ve Leyla Şaylemez were massacred in Paris on January 9,2013, today on the anniversary of their massacres, women organised demonsrations in the all of cities in Turkey. Women gathered in front of the HDP Office in Akdeniz district of Mersin to march Leyla Şaylemez's grave to commemorate her under the leadership of the KJA(Congress of Free Women) but police attacked the women with tear gas and water cannon. The women want to continue the commemorating.
