BURSA - The Alevis in Bursa joined the hunger strike which was started by Alevis to protest the massacres in Kurdistan.

The Alevis started an action to draw attantion to the massacres in Kurdistan with slogans ' Not let children die, no war, peace right now ' and the supporters of this action are increasing each day. The Alevis in Bursa also joined the hunger strike to protest the massacres in Kurdistan. The hunger strike was started in Alevi Culture Association Bursa Branch.Hüseyim Kalkan-the Chairman of Alevi Culture Associations Bursa Branch- made a statement "As Alevis, we want an immediate stop to these incidents, we demand to stop this bloodshed.We ask to not be seized the right to life of the people particulary of children and innocent people."
