Families: 'If they don't give us the bodies, we will start a death fast'

AMED - Families started a hunger strike to take back their children's bodies who were killed in Sur where the 24-hour curfew has been imposed for 41 days. The families said, "If they don't give us the bodies, we will start a fast to the death."
Mesut Seviptek, İsa Oran, Ramazan Öğüt and Rozerin Çukur were killed by state forces in the Sur district of Diyarbakır. Their bodies have not been given to their families. The famillies started a hunger strike to take back their children's bodies in the IHD(Human Rights Association) office. Zarya Baran,aunt of Ramazan Öğüt, made a statement on behalf of the families on the 10th day of the hunger strike.
"We will start a fast to the death in the next days, if the bodies are not given us. We won't leave here unless we get back our children's bodies," said Zarya.
