MÊRDÎN – Special operations police have shot and killed two people in the town of Kızıltepe, in Mardin province.

First an explosion, then the sound of gunshots broke out near the Dicle Primary School in the town of Kızıltepe, located in the Turgut Özal neighborhood. Special operations police killed two. As the gunshots died down, a police line was put up around the bodies.

A prosecutor is expected to come to the scene.
