Police attack people in Siirt

SÊRT - Five people were killed in Siirt yesterday. When the people went to take the dead bodies, police attacked them with tear gas and water cannons. MP Besime Konca was insulted.
Five people were killed in a police raid on a house in the Ulus neighborhood of Siirt recently. The dead bodies of five people are being held in Siirt State Hospital. The names of two of them are known: Mücahit Ongulu, student in the Department of Chemistry at Siirt University, and Cemal Oğuz. The families of two people confirmed their identities. Cemal Oğuz's body will be buried in Siirt Zetva Cemetery today. The people gathered in front of the HDP office in Siirt to participate in the funeral ceremony for Mücahit Ongulu. Many special forces and armored vehicles were sent to Cumhuriyet Square. Police attacked the crowd with tear gas and water cannons. HDP MP Besime Konca was insulted by the chief of police.
The chief of police told Besime, "We will attack if three people gather. Know your limits. You get a state salary and you are coming to take the bodies of terrorists." Despite the police attacks, the crowd departed to Zivziv village in Şilvan to participate in the funeral ceremony for Mücahit Ongulu.
