QAMIŞLO - Rojava Public Security Forces General Command and the leaders of the Arab tribes in Cizîr Canton visited Mar İgnatius II. Efraim,Archbishop of the Syriac Church in the world, who came to Qamişlo. Ayten Fırat,the general commander of Rojava Public Security Forces,made a statement after the visit. Ayten said, " We will defend the common life with the parties participated in the meeting."

Ayten Fırat and Ciwan Îbrahîm, the general commanders of Rojava Public Security Forces, and some law enforcement officials with the leaders of the Arap tribes in Cizîr Canton gathered in Syrian Orthodox Mar Yakup Church in Qamişlo. They talked about the incidents occurred on January 12-13. They were met by Mar İgnatius II. Efraim,Archbishop of the Syriac Church in the world,a crowded delegation of patriarch and the representatives of Syriac, Assyrian, Chaldean and Armenian people.

The meeting was closed to the press. After the meeting, Ayten Fırat talked to journalists.

"We visited Mar İgnatius II. Efraim,Archbishop of the Syriac Church in the world. We gathered to talk about the incident occurred in recent period and how we can solve the problems. All parties emphasized the importance of unity against the terrorist forces and we should struggle against terrorism."
