Police blockade the area of wounded in Cizre

ŞIRNEX - State forces maintained an artillery bombard overnight, with a shell striking a home in the Cudi neighborhood, demolishing one wall. At least 10 were wounded in the attack. The home has been blockaded by state forces. They have threw tear gases to the home. Stating an operation can be performed to home, the MPs Faysal Sarıyıldız and Ferhat Encu called for evacuate the wounded to the hospital.
As the people of Cizre resist for the right to self-government, the Turkish state continues to respond with a genocidal attack on the town, now in its 41st day. State forces maintained an artillery bombard overnight, with a shell striking a home in the Cudi neighborhood, demolishing one wall. At least 10 were wounded in the attack. Mehmet Yavuzel, a member of the assembly of the Democratic Regions' Party (DBP), was among those wounded in the attack and is in critical condition. It is reported that Rohat Aktaş, editor-in-chief of Azadiya Welat Newspaper, is among those wounded too. Rojat became second journalist who is wounded in the attacks.The continuing attacks have prevented residents from evacuating the wounded to the hospital. The two co-chairs of the Cizre People's Assembly were left unharmed in the attack. Refik Tekin, a cameraman for news channel İMC TV, was shot in the leg by fire from armored vehicles, while he was covering the news on January 20.
The people whose were wounded in the attacks : Rohat Aktaş, Sercan Uğur, Murat Aslan, Muharrem Erbek, Azad Yılmaz, Abdullah Zileyaz, Feride Aslan, member of KJA, İslam Kalkan, Mehmet Yavuzel and Faik Özkan.
The neighborhood has been exposed to intensive artillery bombard since morning. According to the reports, many houses have been demolished and there can be more wounded in the other houses. State forces have blockaded the area around home by armored vehicles. They have threw tear gases to the home. Mehmet Tunç, co-chairs of the Cizre People's Assembly, said they have been blockaded, an execution can be occured in the area. Mehmet called everyone to stop this execution.
The MP Faysal Sarıyıldız, said, " The neighborhood has been blockaded. They probably intend to perform an operation. Some of the people are seriously wounded. The officials of DBP and journalists are together in the home. Their lives are in grave danger. They have to be transfered to hospital immediately. The people in the home are civilians they wanted to evacuate Cihan Karaman, the wounded university student who the European Court of Human Rights ruled must be guaranteed the right to medical care, was among those in the house."
Ferhat Encu said, " We are concerned about the lives of our friends who are in the home. Dozens of people can be died without public pressure. Everyone should undertake initiatives to evacuate the people to hospital."
