HALEP - Women who live in the Şêxmeqsûd (Sheikh Maqsoud) neighborhood of Aleppo, are resisting against the blockades of Ahrar al-sham and Al-Nusra gangs.

As the attacks of Daesh have maintained against Rojava, the Şêxmeqsûd (Sheikh Maqsoud) neighborhood of Aleppo has faced to the blockade of the gangs of Ahrar al-Sham and Al-Nusra. Women in the neighborhood are having difficulty to supply their basic needs. They are resisting in different way in Şêxmeqsûd. They put swatches and plastics in diesel barrels and they cook on this heat due to expensive of tube gas and lack of diesel.

One of women, Ferîde Osman (65) said, " The living condition is getting more difficult each day due to the blockade of gangs. We can not even supply our basic needs. It doesn't matter how it is difficult, we never obey the gangs."

Other woman, Nezîra Bilal (53) said "The gangs will not destroy our willpower. We will continue to resist by cooperating. We will never surrender."
