KİLİS – A 12-year-old wounded in Kilis, Turkey when a rocket was fired at a school playground has passed away.

On January 18, gang forces fired a rocket at the Eyüp Gökçe Intermediate School in downtown Kilis, Turkey. The rocket killed a 25-year-old woman, janitorial worker Ayşegül Polat, and seriously wounded 12-year-old Eyüp Gökçe student Gülten Canpolat. Today, Gülten passed away in hospital.
