Child told to obey soldiers or be shot

ŞIRNEX - Cizre residents were forced to leave their houses by state forces. Many of them stay in Güçlükonak now. Rojin Mungan, nephew of Cebrail Mungan who was killed in Cizre, said, "Soldiers told us we had to leave our house. However, my mother's drugs were in the house and we had to take them. Soldiers gave me five minutes to go in and take the drugs. They fastened a white cheesecloth up my head and they told me "They would have killed me if I hadn't came back in five minutes."
State forces have imposed a martial law under the name of "curfew" in the Cizre district of Şırnak. They started a war against Kurds with "curfews". Many families have been forced to leave their houses. They have stayed in Güçlükonak temporarily. Cizre people are creating a communal life after the siege and blockade starting with declaration of self-governments. They bake bread in common. They go to the market and share what they buy. We talked to children who experienced the "curfew" in Cizre.
Father of two Cebrail Mungan was killed in Cizre. His nephew Rojin Mungan told us that soldiers entered to their street on the second day of blockade. Rojin said, "We tried to fall asleep under the sound of tanks and artillery. I and my sisters and my brother were mentally depressed due to the sound. Soldiers entered the street of our house on the second day of blockade. We run out of our house to our grandmother's house. Then the soldiers came to this house too. They told us leave the house. They burned our beds. They broke our door and windows."
Rojin told us how soldiers opened fire on them. Rojin said, "Our neighbor came to our house and told us the soldiers entered the street of our house. My father wanted to look the soldiers. He wondered if they entered the street. I followed him. They opened fire on us.
"Then they entered to our house. They told us leave our house. My father told them that my mother was sick. She had to take her drugs.They allowed me to enter the house. They fastened a white cheesecloth up my head. They told me " They will open fire on me, if I don't come back in five minutes." I run to house and took my mother's drugs."
Orhan, another children, said, " I could go to school only two or three months this year. I know the State is using our schools as military quarters. I want peace soon. The children musn't be killed."
