MÊRDÎN - Ayine Ayhan (65) could not stay silent about inhumane siege in Cizre. She left her sick husband and three children at home and join the resistance vigil in the Giremîra neighborhood of Nusaybin. Ayine joined the vigil action in Suruç to support the resistance of Kobanê. Ayine said she will not return to home without lifting the blockade.
People every walk of life join the vigil of humanity which started in the Giremîra neighborhood of Nusaybin to break the blockade and evacuate the wounded in a basement in Cizre. Ayine Ayhan (65) left her house and familiy in Antep and join the vigil. Ayine was exposed the state's persecution in 1980s and she said, "Never again,"
Ayine Ayhan is originally from Tosuntala village of Siirt. Her husband is struggling with the disease resultant of torture, he experienced. They first had to immigrate to Alanya due to assimilation policies and impositions being village guards. However, the pressure persued them. Then they had to move to Antep. Ayine said she could not stay silent about inhumane siege in Cizre and she decided to come Giremîra.
" We will maintain our struggle under any circumstances. We will stay here until the blockade is lifted. Everyone who have conscience, should come here," said Ayine.
