AMED- Journalists begin "news vigil" to be in solidarity with journalists who work in Diyarbakır under pressure and attacks. The journalists visited the people who have continued a vigil in Sümerpark. They also visited JINHA. "We came here for excitement of Beritan," said journalists.

The journalists who work Turkey's west came to Diyarbakır to be in solidarity with journalists who work in Kurdistan under pressure and attacks. Many journalists, among them Ayşe Yıldırım, Ceren Sözeri, Celal Başlangıç, Ergun Babahan, Evrim Kurtoğlu, Önder Öner, Tunca Öğreten and Said Sefa first visited the families and citizen on vigil in Sümerpark. Ayşe Yıldırım, the columnist of Cumhuriyet newspaper, said, "We came her efor the excitement of Beritan." Ceren Sözeri, the columnist of Evrensel newspaper and the lecturer of Galatasaray University, said, "We came here to see the working conditions of journalists."

Ceren, said, "We are here to be in solidarity with you. We came here to see the difficult working conditions that you face." Ceren announced that this solidarity network will continue until the end of March and they call this action "News Vigil".
