QAMIŞLO - Preparation of First Democratic Syria Women's Conference has been finalized in the Qamışlo city of Rojava with the slogan "Democratic Syria with free women"

Preparation of First Democratic Syria Women's Conference has been finalized in the Qamışlo city of Rojava with the slogan "Democratic Syria with free women". Stating that women have taken an active role in the fields of political, diplomatic, military, organization and labor after the revolution of Rojava, Rojîn Remo, one member of drafting committee of conference, said the preparation of conference is about to end.
The conference will be held in order to strengthen the organization of women. Rojîn pointed out that the women are pioneer of democratic society. She said, "Syrian crisis has been debated for long time, for the solution, Syria needs to progress. As women, we say that this crisis cannot be solved without women's thought and will. On this basis, as women's school in Democratic Syria Assembly, we call on all women in Syria to join the conference. We can reveal a common will by discussing."

Rojîn said, "A solution cannot be provided without our representatives and our will. The problem will be solved politically with a peaceful solutions. Women want to get together and uncover common sense. However, sovereign powers do not allow us. Many of our guests would come to participate in the conference but South government blocked off them. This policy is against the women's will, women's freedom and humanity."

Rojîn called on all women, "Women are insistent. Each obstacle and reactionary approach rise our hatred. All women in Syria 'Arabs, Kurds, Syriac,Turkmen, Armenian and etc.' should participate in the conference and reveal the problems in Syria."
