'We won't leave without the wounded'

MÊRDÎN - A vigil began in the Girêmîra city of Mardin's Nusaybin district. Women who join the vigil call on all people in the would, "We gave birth to our children to live in their lands. We don't leave without evacuate our children," said the women.
Botan March began upon a call of the Democratic Regions Party (DBP) against the martial law in Botan. A vigil began in the Girêmîra city of Mardin's Nusaybin district within the scope of Botan March. The vigil has continued under the leadership of women. Women called on all women in Turkey and Kurdistan to join the vigil.
Ayşe Bayna, joined the vigil from Adana, said, "We are here for peace. I hope we can enter to Cizre. We will go to Cizre to evacuate the wounded and dead bodies. We just ask for peace. I don't want war in our villages and cities. We still ask for peace even if they kill us."
Gule Alagaş, another women, said, "I am calling on all mothers and the people of Turkey. Let's come here and g oto evacuate the wounded in the basement. We want to evacute the wounded and give them to their families. We didn't give birth to our children to be killed. We gave birth to them tol ive in their lands. Our children are our life. We cannot live without their life. We should end the war. We don't leave without the wounded."
Muhsine Taşan, joined the vigil from Hatay, said, "This is a peace resistance. Our youth have been trapped in a basement. We are here to become popular to world. That isn't a war, that is a genocide. In particular, they have targeted the Kurds."
Fatma Güreş, another woman from Hatay, said, "We haven't received any news from the wounded for five days. Even we don't know if they are alive. This is a shame of the 21st century. Let's not bury the people alive."
All women said, "We will not leave without evacuate the wounded in the basement."
