For 66 days, the people of Sur have resisted against the siege and genocidal attacks. Mortar attacks have been continued in the city since morning. The siege has been imposed on the Cevatpaşa, Dabanoğlu, Fatihpaşa, Hasırlı, Savaş, Cemal Yılmaz neighborhood of Sur since December 2. Eight of neighborhood of Sur are not "curfew" area. However, state forces have imposed the martial law on Melikahmet and Gazi avenues. The people have been forced to leave their houses in the city. As mortar attacks began in the morning, the smoke is rising from the city.
