AMED - Women protested the Cizre massacre in Çınar under the leadership of the Free Women's Congress (KJA). Women said, "The AKP government will lose like Daesh did in Kobane and Shengal."

The massacre in two separate basements in the Cizre district of Şırnak protested in the Çınar district of Diyarbakır by a press statement under the leadership of the Free Women's Congress (KJA). The statement was made in front of the DBP district office. Co-chairs of the DBP and HDP and co-mayors of Çınar Municipality and many citizens were present at press statement.

"Murderer AKP will account,", "Long live the resistance of Cizre," and "Long live leader Apo" slogans were shouted. Meanwhile, women unfurled a banner, "Resistance of women will take the plot of 15 February to freedom". Hayat Akyol, co-chair of DBP district office, made the statement. Hayat called the state attacks on Kurdistan as "decimation" and said, "The AKP and its palace gladio have launched a decimation of humanity in Kurdistan."

Stating that the AKP consider everyone a "terrorist" whoever don't stand with its government, Hayat said, "The state considers everyone as "terrorist" except itself. They kills children, women, youth and old people. Finally they executed the wounded civilians whose trapped in basements in Cizre and waited to be evacuated to hospital. This massacre was written in history as a horrific black stain. They were executed within the knowledge of the government officials and in the public eye. The humanity were executed in Cizre with this massacre."

"The government choose massacre instead of solution," said Hayat and continued, "Mr. Abdullah Öcalan has been isolated since 2011. Most recently, since last April, prison officials stepped up this isolation, cutting off of diplomatic relations through the İmralı delegation. Isolation is a crime against humanity. The massacre in Cizre is continuation of the plot of 15 February and this plot has been continued."

Fatime Dengiz, the vice-president of Çınar Municipality, said, "The AKP will lose like Daesh did in Kobane and Shengal."
