EFRÎN – Turkish soldiers have killed two Rojavans—a 10-year-old girl and a 36-year-old man—at the border of Efrîn Canton.

Turkish soldiers continue to kill Rojavan residents at the Efrîn border. 10-year-old girl Emel El Şêx, from the Bab area of Aleppo, and 26-year-old Endan Hemze from Efrîn’s Xelalka village in the Bilbilê district, have been shot and killed by soldiers at the border.

A local named Xelîl Mutehher reported that the citizens were slain 150 meters from the border between Rojava and Northern Kurdistan (in Turkey). Xelîl was working in the field at the time of the event and was himself wounded in the leg when Turkish soldiers fired indiscriminately on the field.

According to healthcare workers at the Avrîn Hospital in the city of Efrîn, 10-year-old Emel was killed by a bullet to her chest. Endan Hemze was wounded by a bullet to the back and rushed to the hospital, but could not be saved.

Most recently, Turkish soldiers killed a 9-year-old Rojavan child on February 5.
