ANKARA - The artists Lale Mansur and Feryal Öney reacted the massacre in Cizre basement. Lale Mansur who went to Sur, Diyarbakır province before, pointed out what means born in Kurdistan. Lale said, "If Emine Erdoğan ( President Erdoğan's daughter) was born in Cizre, her father could pass all his life in the prison of Diyarbakır. Her husband could be a victim of an unidentified murder. Her son could be in the basement in Cizre. She could try to evacuate her son by carring white flag. Do they think of these? I have experimented many military coups until today, but I haven't experimented such terrible thing before."

460 people have died in the siege and attacks in Kurdistan. Cizre residents have been exposed to the most severe attacks in this blockade just because they demand of self government. State forces reponse this demand by tanks and artillery. Dozens of citizens who took refuge in the basements, burned to death. The artists Lale Mansur and Feryal Önal reacted the killing of many wounded citizens in two basements by state forces.
Feryal Öney said, "Forming a sentence, saying something and hoping something are nonsense for me now. Killing of so many people and experiencing such savage are horrible. I am really confused and sorry. Everyone feels same here." Feryal stated that she has tried to receive more information from social media since she heard this incident. She prayed to not be true what happened in Cizre, "We prayed and prayed to not be true the incident. However, it was. I cannot find any word to say."

Lale Mansur evaluated the attacks and blockade in Cizre as massacre and she noted that what is going on in the district is a great crime.
