Support from Shengal to North Kurdistan

ŞENGAL - Shengal people came to Cizre border to support North Kurdistan people by reacting to the massacre policies in the cities and districts of the North Kurdistan along with the declaration of self-government.

The people departed in convoys from Shengal's Sinunê village in Federal Kurdistan Region to Endiwere (Rojava part near Cizre) in order to protest the Turkish state attacks on North Kurdistan's cities and districts and greet the resistance of the people. Shengal Women Assembly, TEVDA (a Yazidi political group that sponsors and affiliates itself with the YBS, (Shingal Resistance Units), youths, teachers and many people attended the action. Shengal people faced with obstacles of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) on the way. However, they reached the border by resisting.

Reaching to the border, Shengal people shouted the slogans such as "We are with you Cizre", "Long live Leader Apo ( refering to the leader of the PKK Abdullah Öcalan)", "Murderer Erdoğan". Activists said that the AKP and Daesh have the same mentality. North Kurdistan people are not alone. They would stay with them all times. Activists, Yezidi people, called on all people to support the resistance. After the all-day action, the people turned back to Shengal.
