GIRKÊ LEGÊ - Young Women's Movement held the first congress in Girkê Legê. Rojava Young Women’s Unite was declared in the congress. Meanwhile, The branches of Union will be opened in all cities of Rojava.

The fisrt congress of Young Women’s Movement was held with the slogan “The resistance of young women is guarantee of the freedom of Leader Apo[Abdullah Öcalan] and the revolution of Kurdistan”. Very important decisions were taken in the congress. 301 delegates attended the congress. The name of Rojava Yough Women’s Movement was changed as Rojava Young Women’s Unite. The members promised to fight under the ideology the PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan. They determined to open braches of Union in the all cities of Rojava.

Young Women's Unite Executive Committee consists of nine people were selected. Three Executive Board members for each canton were elected. Congress closing speech was made by Nûcan Serdûz, member of Congress Preparatory Committee. Nûcan Serdûz said, “There are duties on all of us to build a democratic, free and pluralistic Syria. We promise to first the Leader Abdullah Öcalan and all our martyrs that we will organize all young women and we will walk confidently to the victory of free Syria.”
