Ayşe said 'I won't leave Silopi', but…

ŞIRNEX - Ayşe Buruntekin said, "I won't leave my home", but she was shot and killed while she went out to buy milk for her one-year old Rustem. Her daughter, Hatice stored her dead body in her home for six days.

29 civilians, including seven women were killed in Silopi during 24-hour curfew for 37 days. Silopi has slowly bandaged its wound. Ayşe Buruntekin was shot and killed on the nineth day of the resistance. Her children even don't know where is their mother grave. Ayşe's daughter Hatice told us her mother life and she said, " We will be in mourning, until find our mother grave."

Ayşe said, "I won't leave my home." in the 24-hour curfew which continued for 37 days. One-year old Rustem and her daughter Hatice stayed with their mother. Hatice said, "We wanted to stay in our home. Where could we go? Hatice said Ayşe was shot and killed while she went out to buy milk for Rustem. "There weren't any clashes that time. They shot my mother in front of our door. My sister-in-law was with her when my mother was shot. Snipers targeted them to shoot while they were going outside. My sister-in-law came to home and she barked that our mother was shot to us. We saw our mother lay down on the ground of our neighbor's garden tonelessly. She was wounded. We called police and asked for an ambulance. However, they didn't send any ambulance. My aunt made a stretcher and we carried my mother to home."

"Our mother dead body was with us for six days." said Hatice and told us the all story. " They roped her, put her body on the stretcher. They carried her to a mosque. She remained there for three days. They announced us to "go out". They forced us to go out. We told them "We want to take our mother dead body". However, they didn't allowed us. They took us to an indoor sports hall. They told us "You can take your mother's body tomorrow." However, no one give us our mother's body. They took my mother body to the hospital's morgue, then to Şırnak and then we learned that they took her body to Habur Border Gate. They buried her without inform us. They didn't inform us anything. Even, we don't know where my mother was buried. They left nine children alone."

Ayşe went out by saying, "I am a civilian, they won't do anything to me." Hatice said, "There weren't any clashes when she went out. The milk was between her arms. I gave this milk to my brother for six days. This milk caused her death. My sisters and brothers ask me everyday "When will our mom come back?" and "Where is our mom?".

"I and my mother were like friends. My mother was married when she was 19 years old. She was killed when she was 46 years old. We had really a good mother."
