İSTANBUL- Zeynep Ceren Boztoprak, head of Istanbul Branch of the Human Rights Association in Turkey, and Züleyha Gülüm, a lawyer and member of the Peace Bloc called to stop the violation of right in Kurdistan, "West solidarity must increase, everyone must give noise against the violation of right."

As the massacre in Cizre is at the back of people's mind, attacks of the power and state forces have continued nonstop. Violation of right set the human rights defenders in the West of Turkey in motion. Zeynep Ceren Boztoprak and Züleyha Gülüm stated that we are in danger of coming through another Cizre in Sur. They also addressed the dysfunctional of the legal mechanism and Europe's silence. They called on people to avoid another Cizre's massacre in Sur.

Zeynep Ceren Boztoprak, head of Istanbul Branch of the Human Rights Association in Turkey stated that the overall state of human rights in Turkey has substantially deteriorated in Turkey since the June 7 general elections, "The attacks and massacre policies in Kurdistan are worse than 1990s. The state has performed severe violations, particularly the violation to right of life." Zeynep expressed that the legal mechanism has been deactivated. "Internal and external control mechanisms of law have been deactivated. the United Nations (UN), the European Union (EU) and European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) keep silent."

Zeynep said that the state and power are in preparation to kill all people who have been trapped in Sur like in Cizre. They call on people to avoid a massacre in Sur like in Cizre. "We cannot determine the violation of right and we cannot stop this violation due to curfew." said Zeynep.

Züleyha Gülüm, a lawyer and member of the Peace Bloc, said that an undeclared war has been carried out in Kurdistan. However, the law of war hasn't been implemented. "The power declares "traitor" whoever asks for peace. European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) takes the information from the state. This is not legal. We should remind European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) that they are an organisation against the human rights violation."

Zeynep Ceren Boztoprak and Züleyha Gülüm asked to open a life corridor for the people have trapped in basements in Sur.
