AGIRÎ - Four people, among them Hazal Aras, co-mayor of Diyadin Municipality, have been taken into custody.

State forces conducted several raids on houses in the Diyadin district of Ağrı in the morning. Diyadin co-mayor Hazal Aras, Lütfü Demir, Fevzi Kahraman and Ferhat Birgül have been taken into custody on charges of being a "member of an illegal organization."

After the raids, state forces have blockaded many points of the town with armored vehicles. Four people were taken to District Police Department.
