For 93 days, the siege has continued in the Sur district of Diyarbakır. The bombardment of the Sur has continued since morning. 12 citizens, among them four-month-old Elif Su and her mother Seda Aslan, have been evacuated from the town by ambulances. However, no information has been obtained from them. According to reports received, Rıdvan Tuncer, one of those who have been evacuated from the town, was taken to Gazi Yaşargil Training and Research Hospital. Semiha Sürer and İhsan Biter have been taken into custody. Other citizens and four-month-old Elif Su also have been taken into custody.

Meanwhile, there are many citizens, among them children, who are trapped in the basements. Their condition is deteriorating. Remziye Tosun has still been trapped in a basement with her two children. Remziye said on phone that state forces throw tear gas to them. "We are suffocating. My children are going to die. My one-and-half-year-old daughter has fainted for one hour.

Meanwhile, yesterday Diyarbakır people marched to break the siege in Sur. State forces attacked and took nearly 30 people into custody. Those arrested include; M. Ali Çetinkaya, Kezban Gizli, Nursel İlter, Feyzullah Ermiş, Recep Ermiş, Ferhat Kılıçarslan, Gabar Kurt, Yaprak Filiz, Belçin Akgündüz, Melek Akgül Karakoç, Haşim Tosun, Erol Alakuş.
