WAN- When prisoners in Van M-Type Women's Prison, among them JINHA reporter Rojda Oğuz, held a noise demonstration for Cizre, prison administration gave them a disciplinary punishment.

During the Cize massacre, HDP, DTK, DBP made a call with the slogan of ''make noise against oppression, speak out for peace.'' Prisoners in Van M-Type Women's Prison, including JINHA reporter Rojda Oğuz, responded to the call. Prison administration gave a disciplinary penalty to the prisoners. According to Melek Özçelik, who went to Rojda Oğuz's visiting hours, women who participated in the action were punished with a ban on letters and phone calls.

Melek said that the prisoners, including Rojda, responded to the call by hitting their bunks. Prison administration punished the prisoners with a four-month ban on letters and phone calls. She also said repression in the prison increased every day.
