ŞENGAL - Shengal Women's Assembly made a statement about March 8, International Women's Day. Women said, "Your resistance is ours." Women also give their word to rescue all women who have been kidnapped by Daesh gangs.
Shengal Women's Assembly made a statement on Sheangal's mountains about March 8, International Women's Day. Women stated in the statement that they have reorganized with the philosophy of life of the PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan. "We salute first Rêber Apo (refer to the leader of the PKK, Abdullah Öcalan) and Kurdish Freedom Movement who saved Êzidî society and we wish a happy March 8, International Women's Day, to all women around the world. We memorialize our martyrs who lost their life while resisting to have a free life."
Women stated in the statement that Êzidî women and children have been kidnapped by Daesh gangs and they have been sold in the slave markets. "We, as Êzidî women, don't accept a life with male-dominated and occupant system. We are insist on build a free life. We call on everyone to join us and clear Shengal from Daesh gangs. Let's present a free life to Êzidî women.
"We give Êzidî women our word to rescue all women who have been kidnapped by Daesh gangs and to reorganize with the philosophy of life of the PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan. All Kurdish people are resisting to have autonomous life in Sur, Cizre, Silopi, Nusaybin and all cities in North Kurdistan.
